The Rooted Response

Embodied Safety. Rooted Identity. Sustainable Leadership

The Rooted Response is an online space for healers, coaches, practitioners, and space-holders who already know how to help others… yet notice their body hesitate, tighten, or pull back when it’s time to fully step forward in their own work.

This is not a strategy space.

It’s for the woman who can feel that pushing through, holding everything together, and staying in constant output is no longer sustainable, and that her next level won’t come from doing more, but from being supported differently on the inside.

You don’t lack clarity.
You don’t lack discipline.
You don’t lack capability.

What’s happening is quieter and more human.

Your nervous system learned to carry responsibility by staying alert, accommodating, and self-contained. You learned to manage yourself so things stayed steady, relationships stayed intact, and nothing fell apart.

That way of operating once helped you function.

But the same pattern now makes visibility heavy, decisions draining, and leadership feel like pressure instead of expression.

The Rooted Response is where that changes.

Here we work beneath effort, at the level where your reactions, follow-through, and confidence actually live.

We build nervous-system safety and a stable internal identity so you can:

  • move forward without emotional crash afterward

  • follow through without forcing yourself past your limits

  • hold clients, money, and visibility with steadiness instead of tension

  • stay present during pressure without disconnecting from yourself

This is not about fixing you. Nothing is wrong with you.

It’s about helping your body feel safe enough to stay with what you care about.

This is identity work.
Nervous-system work.
Capacity work.

So your impact no longer requires self-abandonment as the cost.

The Rooted Response isn’t something you have to keep up with.
It’s a place you return to until self-trust, grounded decisions, and internal steadiness become familiar.

This is the work beneath the work.

Our Vision

We envision a world where women lead from internal safety instead of survival , where decisions come from self-trust, not conditioning and leadership no longer requires performance or self-erasure.

A world where power is steady, not forced. Where presence replaces pressure.
And leadership begins in the body. Rooted, regulated, and sustainable.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help women rebuild the internal safety required to lead, decide, and expand without self-abandonment.

This is identity work. Guiding entrepreneurs out of survival patterns and into embodied leadership rooted in regulation, self-trust, and presence.

Our Values

Safety before strategy
Nothing meaningful integrates without nervous-system safety.

Identity over performance
We don’t teach you how to show up — we help you become someone who can.

Presence over pressure
Growth doesn’t come from force. It comes from staying with yourself.

Truth without self-abandonment
Clarity should never cost you your body, voice, or boundaries.

Regulation is leadership
How you hold yourself shapes everything you lead
...

NON NEGOTIABLES

We hold that every human being carries inherent worth. Black, Brown, Hispanic, Indigenous, Asian, and White lives all matter but whiteness alone is not the measure of value or power. Trans men are men. Trans women are women. Nonbinary and gender-expansive people are whole. Every body, ability, and neurotype is sacred, and accessibility is a reflection of love, not charity. Faith must never be weaponized. American exceptionalism and Christian nationalism are distortions of both spirit and truth. Climate change is real, and care for the earth is a moral and spiritual duty. Love is love, and no institution has the authority to legislate it. Abortion is healthcare, and bodily autonomy is holy. No one is illegal on stolen land. We honor Indigenous sovereignty and the right of every person to exist and belong. Indifference in the face of oppression is complicity and our spirituality requires accountability, courage, and care.

Hey, I’m Sasha Marie.

I created this space because I know a very specific kind of tired.

Not burnout from doing nothing.
Not confusion.
Not a lack of ideas, motivation, or care.

The kind of tired that comes from holding a lot for others… while your own body quietly resists being fully seen, responsible, or relied on.

For years I showed up, took action, and carried what needed to be carried. I could guide people, support people, and move things forward. From the outside, it looked consistent and capable.

But inside, it cost more than it should have.

I could do the work…
yet decisions felt heavy.
Visibility felt charged.
After helping someone, my body stayed activated long after the session ended.

If this sounds familiar, you’re probably someone who:

  • shows up reliably

  • cares deeply about the people you help

  • takes your role seriously

And yet:

  • follow-through takes more energy than expected

  • posting or inviting feels disproportionally stressful

  • rest comes with guilt

  • momentum appears in bursts and then disappears

Not because you’re doing anything wrong, but because your nervous system learned to stay safe by over-managing, pushing, and overriding your own signals.

That was true for me too.

I thought I needed more knowledge, more preparation, or more confidence. I kept learning, adjusting, and trying to “get ready.”

Eventually I realized something important:

I didn’t need another method.
My body needed to feel safe holding the role I was stepping into.

You likely already know what to do.
You’ve studied. You’ve invested. You’ve practiced.

But your nervous system hasn’t fully caught up to your calling yet.

That’s where this work lives.

The Rooted Response is an online space I created to slow things down just enough for your system to feel steady, so the actions you already know how to take don’t require self-abandonment as the cost.

This isn’t about fixing you. Nothing is wrong with you.

It’s about helping your body trust that you can make decisions, be visible, support others, and still stay connected to yourself afterward.

This is quiet work.
Deep work.
Practical work.

It changed how I guide, how I decide, and how I build — and it’s why this space exists.
